Glamping is all about finding the perfect relationship between nature and comfort. These amenities provide all you’ll need, plus some. If that’s still not enough, guess what? There’s space for you to bring many of your own items from home. Benefits extend beyond the immediate vicinity of your glamping site—you’ll have access to all the fun activities in downtown Asheville and the greater surrounding area, too!

The Space: A canvas weatherproof 12’ x 16’ platform tent accommodating up to 4 guests

Inside

  • One queen bed with linens—soft cotton sheets, comforter and pillows

    • The cot can be stored under the bed when not in use.

    • Interior lighting

    • A bedside table

    • One fan plus large windows with bug screens

    • Capabilities for charging personal electronics.

Note: The power units have approximately 1000Wh (12.0V, 1,000Ah). They are excellent for recharging phones, laptops, and tablets, illuminating small lights, etc. They are not intended for heavy uses of heaters, large fans, cooking equipment or other heavy electronics. Units cannot be recharged quickly (once the power unit is drained it takes 18 hours to re-charge), so guests should use the power available conservatively. Charge times for various devices are located on the units and if damage or impairment of the normal operation of the unit occurs guests will be liable.

  • Bathroom facilities are shared with the Lake Powhatan Campground and include hot showers

  • Water pumps are available in the Glamping loop and shared among the 12 sites

  • Access to Lake Powhatan beach and fishing pier

  • Access to Bent Creek hiking and biking trail system
